Non-Insured Health Services
The Non-insured Health Services include Optometry, Patient travel, Dental (Children’s Oral Health Initiative), Home and Community care and Medical Transportation. These programs are handled by the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).
Optical and Dental care often require additional fees for services over and above allotted funding by the FNHA. These additional costs are not provided by the Hagwilget Village.
Programs administered by Hagwilget First Nation Government are the Medical Transportation, Children’s Oral Health Initiative and Home and Community Care.
